ThumbsPlus 10 Pro Product: Wine Version: 7.13 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: nosoy1(a)charter.net Distribution: --- Created attachment 72765 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=72765 Screen print showing app and photo adjustment sliders. App ThumbsPlus Pro 10 SP2 Build Jun 14, 2018. OS Linux Mint 64 System: Kernel: 5.4.0-122-generic x86_64 bits: 64 compiler: gcc v: 9.4.0 Desktop: Cinnamon 5.2.7 wm: muffin dm: LightDM Distro: Linux Mint 20.3 Una base: Ubuntu 20.04 focal After the 7.13 focal update certain sliders and buttons in pop up window functions no longer work. The sliders themselves have not looked right for quite a while, but after this update, they are unresponsive and unusable. If I restore the app from my backup and using Timeshift restore WINE back to 7.12, the pop ups function normally again. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. This is how the box looks under 7.0 and in native Windows. Compare to the previous screen print from 7/18. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53380 --- Comment #3 from RonSMeyer <nosoy1(a)charter.net> --- I do not know what to do here. I cannot even install the app with 7.12 - 7.14. The first install screen exhibits the same problem as the popup in the report. It's total non-functional and completely unresponsive to the mouse. I cannot select any install parameters nor even click "next" to continue the installation. I can however, reinstall the app with 7.0 where everything functions normally. The popup box has not looked right for several updates past but became non-functional, unresponsive to the mouse with 7.13. I've attached another screen print showing what the popup looks like under 7.0, and this matches native Windows which is significantly different from the later updates -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. I keep getting "SQL Connect Error", even after creating a 32-bit Wine bottle and installing jet40 with winetricks. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. I can reproduce the problem with the scroll bars now. It was caused by <https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/commit/419893519c0660a765ebb9898b5ccf64c273b0cf> and it was fixed in Wine 7.15 by <https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/commit/7e2beeec911b0c8b8180f0e25bb8f5d9bb9a5b71>. The separate regression with the installer that was introduced around Wine 7.12 was fixed sometime between Wine 7.15 and 11.0-rc1. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
