There is no crash/call to the aforementioned unimplemented stub. Installed IE8 from download link in clean WINEPREFIX without 'winetricks', set 'wininet' to 'native'. -- snip --- $ pwd /home/focht/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Internet Explorer $ wine ./iexplore.exe ... <shows user interface> -- snip --- Always provide exact instructions for reproducing (installation, overrides, ...). Also please try to summarise the problem as precise as possible. It's some internal undocumented interface that we don't have to implement for regular applications.
