Do not have any printer connected. That's not what I asked. Connect != configured. I repeat the question do you have any network printers configured in CUPS?
Have you tried removing/renaming ~/.wine directory? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14663 --- Comment #5 from Massimo <massimo.gengarelli(a)gmail.com> 2008-07-27 14:52:15 --- I do not have any printer configured in CUPS, since the moment I don't even have a printer :P I tried removing, renaming, recreating the $HOME/.wine, didn't work. Even tried downgrading, upgrading to 1.1.2 compiling from scratch or using the tool included in file .tar.bz2. Tried just now to re-emerge world, checking dependencies, ldconfig, .. everything seems fine, except this huge latency. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Well ok. Even if I didn't have any printer configured in CUPS, the service wasn't started. Starting it seems to solve the problem.
