[Bug 5625] Wine does not handle internet proxy settings conveniently
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5625 --- Comment #7 from Dan Kegel <dank(a)kegel.com> 2008-04-01 19:37:25 --- Note that the graphical Gnome settings only affect sessions started with Gnome's special Terminal menu item, not any other launcher. When testing this, make sure the http_proxy variable is set by gnome before jumping to conclusions. Wine's iexplore does not yet obey these settings, so we can't close the bug yet. To fix this part, we'll need to propagate the settings to Gecko, as described here: http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Mozilla_Embedding_FAQ:How_do_I...#How_d... Likewise, launching Windows Firefox 3 beta 4 inside Wine does not pick up these proxy settings. Seems like it ought to, but what do I know... Anyone know a good free http client based on wininet we could use to test? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
