After installing Wine successfuly from the openSUSE repository, there are no
icons in the SLAB Menu. I can run it via terminal, however I need to specify
the whole path to the installed software instead of just typing wine
"application.exe".

Vanilla Wine doesn't add any icons to the menu. It's part of the distro's
package. Please file bug in Novell's bugzilla
