Impossible to launch Mall Tycoon 2 Deluxe retail version after install. All the following versions fail to start: * 0.9.49, 1.0.1, 1.1.10, 1.1.16, 1.1.19, 1.1.22, 1.1.24, 1.1.30, 1.1.35 Tried full screen, windowed mode, without audio - all fails to run. Consider UNCONFIRMED->NEW and KEYWORDS: +DOWNLOAD Tip for the demo. It can be run max 3 times, but after installation you can backup ~/.wine/drive_c/users/Public/ and restore that folder after reaching the demo limit. Attaching console log with disabled audio (otherwise log is messy). It was based on Mall Tycoon 2 demo, which was bundled on a CD with other full game. The provided download link has probably newer/patched demo, which starts and plays OK even with sounds. Can anyone else retest?
Hi Bruno, i mess that up in comment #2. The link leads to 37MB "Mall Tycoon 2 Demo". But the version which shows the problem is 130MB "Mall Tycoon 2 Demo" which can be run only 3 times. The EXE name is MT2 Web Setup.exe (MD5: 905da7c5e2f20a392c652d29cb88257e) and probably is not download-able (this demo was bundled to some full game). The other choice is probably full version "Mall Tycoon 2 Deluxe". I did the re-test with 130MB demo under 1.3.34, crashes bit differently. Console log is attached. However I do have the original Mall Tycoon 2 and it is running without any crash on 1.7.31. There is a minor graphics bug/stub- fixme:d3d:swapchain_gl_present WINED3D_SWAP_EFFECT_FLIP not implemented.
