https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45016 mo78(a)abv.bg changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |mo78(a)abv.bg --- Comment #4 from mo78(a)abv.bg --- The game is relatively playable with DXVK but you can't turn with vehicles - the buttons for right and left just doesn't work which is a gamebraker. And you must use a crack in order to play. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45016 --- Comment #5 from Anthony Jagers <noonetinone(a)gmail.com> --- ...you must use a crack in order to play... If you are referring to Uplay not connecting, I don't think that will be a problem for me all of my other Uplay titles connect just fine, e.g., Far Cry 4. Are you trying to use a controller? -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45016 --- Comment #6 from mo78(a)abv.bg --- No I don't have a controler. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45016 --- Comment #7 from Adam Bolte <abolte(a)systemsaviour.com> --- To save someone else the huge download, I couldn't launch FC5. I don't have a cracked version, and I have no problem running Far Cry 4 and Uplay under Wine. The game truly seems to require a crack to run (which I'm reluctant to try). -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. I tried it with and without a crack, with and without DXVK (on RADV and AMDVLK), but the behavior was always the same :/ -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45016 --- Comment #9 from Anthony Jagers <noonetinone(a)gmail.com> --- I have purchase the steam version. My feeling is the game is quitting rather than crashing. It's probably DRM, maybe denuvo. I have studied the console output while trying to run the game. Mine is more like the log posted by Adam. mo78 seems to have different issues. mo78 has lines from the dx11 channel. Adam & I do not. The main line in the log is the following: fixme:kernelbase:AppPolicyGetProcessTerminationMethod After that line is feed, steam suggest the game quits normally. That's all I have for now. I'll keep digging. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Follow the instructions: https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Far_Cry_5#Disable_Easy_Anti-Cheat Change Uplay to work in offline mode, if not, game will crash soon after lunch: https://support.ubi.com/en-US/faqs/000016033/How-Do-I-Run-the-Uplay-PC-Clien... https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45016 --- Comment #11 from Anthony Jagers <noonetinone(a)gmail.com> --- Thanks, that at least got the single player working. What you linked to recommends putting Uplay in offline mode, so no multiplayer. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45016 --- Comment #12 from Konrad Materka <kmaterka(a)wp.pl> --- Unfortunately you won't be able to play online, but the game crashes while connecting anyway.
