Perhaps provide some hardware, driver, and wine version information? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=24783 --- Comment #3 from Thomas Spear <Speeddymon(a)gmail.com> 2010-10-26 08:25:08 CDT --- I will test on my linux box when I get home in a bit. I've been putting it off because I don't like the state of d3d in wine at the moment for playing wow, so I've been playing on windows. It's possible that if there is slowness, it's just due to exactly what I said above though. That's why most guides from before 4.0.1 of WoW said to use opengl mode, but since opengl mode is worse now that blizzard is supposedly dropping support for it (physically can't change graphics settings above low in opengl mode even on windows) ... everyone is forced to switch to d3d. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

WoW's async texture loading is quite laggy in general though (on windows too). -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

I'm not sure if it was a setup issue or anything like that, could even be a driver bug. Marking fixed. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
