Downgrading wine on Arch to 10.19 solved it. Steps to reproduce. 1. Download SATools https://github.com/X-Hax/sa_tools/releases/tag/659 2. I did not make a new prefix (it was created with WINE 10.20). I reproduced it with the .NET8 SDK installation (the Windows version), it logs the same or similar errors. The installer does "complete" - running any "dotnet" commands afterwards will spit out the error again. The error seem to only happen on dotnet8 applications, with or without locale fix. I am trying to run UAssetGUI. Downgrading wine to 10.19 did not fix the issue for me, neither on the same prefix or a new prefix.
