Please retest in 1.6-rc1.
Also, don't run wine as root, use your regular user.

[bodo(a)thebrain nwn2]$ rpm -qi wine Name : wine Version : 1.7.21 The game also allows now to set the "compatibility" mode which allows it to be run on Linux with wine.
