I just had a chance to try Thief 3 on a Windows box.  If you empty the
"user.ini" file then the game will crash on Windows just like it does on Linux.
 Since the game page faults on Windows under the same conditions as under
Linux, this bug should probably be retitled to indicate that the problem is
with the installer writing the "user.ini" file (Comment #17).
