[Bug 11662] New: Commandos 3: Black rectangle covers most of the backround
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11662 Summary: Commandos 3: Black rectangle covers most of the backround Product: Wine Version: 0.9.55. Platform: PC URL: http://www.eidosinteractive.com/downloads/search.html?gm id=143 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: directx-d3d AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: pawel.nadolski(a)gmail.com Created an attachment (id=10874) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=10874) Screenshot of the rectangle with trucks. While playing Commandos 3: Destination Berlin, a black rectangle is covering most of the background (see attached screenshot). It doesn't appear only in three indoor locations at the beginning of training mission. Inside the rectangle sometimes appear objects which shouldn't be rendered at that moment like soldiers, trucks or tanks. I'm using wine-0.9.55-388-gea56370. This bug makes the game unplayable. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11662 --- Comment #3 from Alexander Dorofeyev <alexd4(a)inbox.lv> 2008-04-03 01:27:24 --- I didn't play a lot, but at least one location still doesn't render correctly for me. That one which begins with commando catching onto a running train ("west europe campaign i think) and the screen is then kind of split in two. The visual corruption that i see reminds of visual corruption in the level loading screen. Possibly this is offscreen rendering issue. Pawel, what's your experience with this location? Have you tried it? Maybe this bug should be reopened or a new one opened, because at least for me not all issues are gone. Other locations seem to work fine though, i played a bit in stalingrad mission (i die real quickly there though lol) and tutorial, they rendered correctly. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
