[Bug 21855] New: WordPro Windows pull down does not show file names
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21855 Summary: WordPro Windows pull down does not show file names Product: Wine Version: 1.1.38 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P4 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: ToddAndMargo(a)verizon.net Created an attachment (id=26459) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=26459) Missing file names in Windows pull down Hi All, Would you guys fix this for me? I am using Lotus Word Pro N9.8.0208.1200. When you open two files (documents) from the command line (the jpeg I have attached), then go to the "Window" pull down to select which file to bring into focus, the file names are missing. If you start Word Pro, then use File, Open to select two files, one at a time, the second file does not show. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21855 --- Comment #4 from Todd Chester <ToddAndMargo(a)zoho.com> --- Hi Austin, Wine is only supported up to 1.6.1 by the folks at EPEL (Extra Packages for Enterprise Linux). So I can not test under 1.7 No one ever worked on this bug. It would be nice after two years if it got some priority. Can you look into it? https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21855 --- Comment #11 from super_man(a)post.com --- Then you need to use additional debug channels. I don't know what to use. But you could try if setting components to native fixes the issue. You add more 1 by 1 if something fixes the issue you might have found the component and also the channel to use. comctl32, shell32 could be a starting point. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Turns out WM_SETTEXT does trigger a refresh, but there's some sort of check in Windows that the menu is actually... visible? attached? Not sure what, but adding it to the frame menu like Word Pro does is enough to make the tests work. I've submitted 8967. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
