Autorun.exe and also setup.exe don't have any problem with installation. Vitaliy i don't think that you filled win16 keyword correctly here...
From the backtrace of the original reporter, it shows 16bit code is executed, winevdm is running also. Maybe yours is a different setup? You could check by tracing the functions mentioned in the backtrace if you wanted to find out.
