GTA / Grand Theft Auto IV (1.0.8.0) doesn't get past the initial R* splash
screen to the game menu. There's only a black screen that cannot be exited
unless switching to a virtual console and killing all wine processes.

This happens both in wine 3.0.4 and 4.0.

All libraries are internal, except for MS VC++ 2005 redistributable.
No wine prefix options nor 'export' flags.

ThinkPad T410s
Processor: Intel i5 (1st-gen), quad-core 2.53Mhz
Memory: 4Gb RAM
OS: Ubuntu 18.04 / elementaryOS Juno
Graphics: NVidia NVS3100M (304.107 driver)

Another tip: this happens too with GTA IV version 1.0.7.0 and 1.0.8.0 whilst
using the 'nouveau' driver on NVidia video graphics.

GTA IV 1.0.7.0 on proprietary NVidia drivers runs fine on wine 3.0.4, but
crashes on wine 4.0.
