Created an attachment (id=18466)

output of gdb run on core

compile wine-1.1.12 and install in /usr/local/1112/bin/
create wine environment => ~/.wine-n1mm by running winecfg
setup sound, set version to win98
copy mfc42.dll from a recent ies4linux install to system32 in .wine-n1mm tree
run N1MM-FullInstaller.exe (8.0.0) with wine (specifying
WINEPREFIX=~/.wine-n1mm)
cd to Program\ Files/N1MM\ Logger
run N1MM\ Logger.exe (same WINEPREFIX)
configure ONLY com1 for K2 and CW only.
quit app and re-run as before
OK initial config dialog
enter callsign in logger window
-app locks up
hit alt-f4
click y
app crashes, wine spits out instructions to allow core dump and run debugger to
get backtrace

This app is written in VB6 and has limited stability under wine
It works ok until it is configured, then the fun starts
I forgot to say that no radio was on the serial port and wine did complain
about the com port.(after limited configuration was done)

wineserver regression has already been fixed in latest git.
