[Bug 1347] Screen is wiped/blanked on usage of DirectDraw

I think I just faced this same bug while installing Heroes of Might and Magic
IV on Ubuntu Feisty and Wine 0.9.53. At least the effect seems very much the
same. 

Immediately when the installation starts and there should be the first graphics
full screen menu visible, the whole screen goes blanc. However, if I press
Alt-F1, I do get the normal shortcut to the Applications menu appearing. And
with Alt-F2 I get the shortcut for running a program AND the graphic
installation menu appears perfectly correct, and I'm able to continue the
installation as normal. Cancelling the "run program" window will return the
screen blanc again, however, so it needs to be left on top for the page to be
visible. Once the installation proceeds, the screen goes blanc again, and I can
get it visible by doing the same again. The same repeats as long as I can
continue the installation altogether. 

For me right clicking doesn't help, though. No menu appears in that case.
