ive been using wine-staging (10.20) for a while to run and play Eve online.
This weekend i updated to 11-rc1 and noticed that eve online now has a white
screen instead of its launcher.

This only happens on my pc though, and my laptop can run it fine.

things ive tried
* run 11-rc1 on both pc and laptop
* removed my wine prefix and start a new one
* revert to 10.20 (which made the issue disappear)

i currently have major prefix issues (all wine commands just... hang and do
nothing), but even a new prefix (which fixes the hanging) just shows a white
screen.

Anyone got an idea what changed?

the prefix stuff has been fixed and had to do with my IE8 installation to try
some things haha (https://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?t=40081)

However, the white screen remains.
It looks to be a rendering thing, as the cursor changes when hovering over
where some buttons are suppose to be

UPDATE: 11.0-rc2 seems to have fixed it, partly. the launcher splash screen is
partly white/black and ingame there are sometimes some graphical glitches but
generally it is very playable.
what changed?
