RANDMMAP is not particularly useful with Wine, and will break memory reservation, but most things should still work. What is the actual problem you are seeing?
Well, i stumbled upon it when i tried to strace wine to catch what's happening with hanging Space Rangers HD. Somehow strace re-enables RANDMMAP even when it's disabled for the strace binary itself it seems.
