What video card / driver version are you using? Same problem with the game demo?
I'm using an Intel GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03) and i have the same problem with the demo: black screen but it seems to start. I get this output from terminal: fixme:d3d_shader:shader_glsl_load_constants >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GL_INVALID_OPERATION (0X502) from glUniform4fvARB @ glsl_shader.c / 445 and similar.... Is this still present in current (1.1.28 or newer) wine?
I now think it wasn't wine related. I had no problem playing the game using an old nvidia videocard -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

It's an old report now. Kernels, drivers, distros, wine has gone forward.
