According to my tests [1] the correct implementation doesn't make the installer happy too. GetFontResourceInfoW works only for font files in %windir%\Fonts. In my Windows XP VM the installer copies the font files into %windir%\Fonts. In wine the installer doesn't copy the files. Looks like this needs to be fixed first.
