Hmm, this started to happen to winepath recently, too; the simplified test case
is now:
> winepath /
> preloader: Warning: failed to reserve range 00000000-60000000
> /home/foo/.wine/dosdevices/z:/
> ulimit -Ss unlimited
> winepath /
> preloader: Warning: failed to reserve range 00000000-60000000
> Segmentation fault

(wine 0.9.36; the default soft stack limit was 8192)
