[Bug 15031] New: Adobe Photoshop CS3 Unhandled Page Fault (Does not run)
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15031 Summary: Adobe Photoshop CS3 Unhandled Page Fault (Does not run) Product: Wine Version: 1.0.0 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: torncomputersinc(a)gmail.com Created an attachment (id=15673) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=15673) Full paste of information from execution to end of backtrace. I am pretty new to wine, have been a windows guy for 10+ years, linux 2-3 years. Found a guide to getting CS3 to install on wine-reviews.net. I set gdiplus.dll to native, builtin. First try of CS3, it loaded, but rendering toolboxes were very slow and choppy. Installed comctl32, corefonts, dotnet20, gdiplus, allfonts, vcrun6 set to winxp. :~$ wine ~/.wine/drive_c/"Program Files"/"Adobe Photoshop CS3"/Photoshop.exe there were a TON of fixme lines, after photoshop loads and finishes its initial checking, it just flat out closes. the attachment contains information from the point of run until it page faults with thread 0009. Just before adding the attached log, I noticed that there is more than just one unhandled page fault. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Before running Photoshop.exe do chdir to the directory it resides in. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Also, the fixme's are not a problem, don't worry about them. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15031 Dan Kegel <dank(a)kegel.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution| |INVALID --- Comment #3 from Dan Kegel <dank(a)kegel.com> 2008-10-10 14:45:02 --- Works now with wine-1.1.6 as long as you do winetricks gecko gdiplus first. I'm marking this report invalid because of the extra overrides the reporter used. If problems persist, open a new bug or chime in on an existing open one (I've opened several for various issues found while running photoshop cs3 in the last couple days). -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
