https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46202 Bug ID: 46202 Summary: AutoClicker doesn't work properly Product: Wine Version: 3.21 Hardware: x86 URL: https://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellane ous/AutoClicker-2.shtml OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: luca.finizio.mgbx(a)hotmail.it Distribution: Mint I downloaded AutoClicker 2.1 from https://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/AutoClicker-2.shtm... The program starts and it works in his window, but if put the pointer in another window then it dowsn't work. I used this program to repeatedly click in Habbo games (www.habbo.com and www.habbo.it) with a speed of a click every 500 milliseconds; but the same problem is also present with everything else outside the AutoClciker window. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46202 --- Comment #3 from Nikolay Sivov <bunglehead(a)gmail.com> --- If you expect it to work for native application window, that's unlikely to happen. I suggest to start 'wine winecfg' separately, then AutoClicker and see if it can click in winecfg window. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. But it works good in Windows (I mean the OS)... That's why I thought that it was a bug, because it works but not as in Windows -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46202 --- Comment #7 from Nikolay Sivov <bunglehead(a)gmail.com> --- If it works for other windows wine's created, like for winecfg program you tried, then application is clearly working. But it is constrained to wine environment, sending messages, enumerating windows from Win32 point of view, having no idea about non-windows application that are running on your OS. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
