[Bug 53056] New: SubtitleEdit 3.6.6 freezes after a few minutes
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53056 Bug ID: 53056 Summary: SubtitleEdit 3.6.6 freezes after a few minutes Product: Wine Version: 7.9 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: zargulthewizard(a)outlook.com Distribution: --- Created attachment 72454 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=72454 Log with +system Running SubtitleEdit 3.6.6 portable or install eventually results in a UI freeze, and sometimes a glitchout where portions of the UI are replaced with blank colored squares/rectangles. The error messages are different sometimes, but most common is something about h264: get_buffer() failed. I have not tested this with wine stable. Here is the program link https://github.com/SubtitleEdit/subtitleedit/releases Notably, standalone mono (not wine-mono) runs the application fairly well. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Why? Just attach a normal console log. Do you leave the app to run, doing nothing, or are you actually loading a video into it? -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53056 --- Comment #2 from Wilbur Jaywright <zargulthewizard(a)outlook.com> --- Sorry, I thought adding the system the bug info would help. I didn’t realize it would clutter things up so badly you couldn’t find what you needed. I will attach a normal log. Yes, I was able to load a video, and even add a few subtitles, but then the program just died. It seemed to be on sort of a self destruct timer, since if I worked faster, I could get more done seemingly… I wonder if it has to do with the auto save feature. The program does have one. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
