Please copy the XINPUT1_3.DLL file from windows into system32 directory and try again.
By adding this DLL you can launch the game. I think that is not worth to be called a "bug". -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

Please copy the XINPUT1_3.DLL file from windows into system32 directory and try again.
That almost worked. The game now asks for the correct DVD to be placed into the drive, even when the disc is there. Does that count as a bug? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

I guess yes, but I think this is a bug related to Copy Protection. From what I found on the Internet Assassins Creed seems to be using "SafeDisc 4.85". Could be rather bug #219. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

please retest without a native xinput1_3 dll
Tested it with a fresh Wine installation, and it works perfectly. I deleted the .wine folder while keeping the Program Files folder, then uninstalled wine with the --purge option using the Aptitude package manager, then re-installed wine as well as DirectX9 using winetricks. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
