Persists in 0.9.49 (prebuilt ubuntu package).

Tested with nvidia drivers 100.14.19 and 1.0.9639 using a GeForce 7900 on
Kubuntu Gutsy.
Same problem on my notebook using an ATI X1400 mobile.
Tested drivers 8.37.6, 8.40.4 and 8.42.3.
