Is this still an issue?
No, a new (wildcard for *.winehq.org and winehq.org) certificate was issued on March 5, from Network Solutions L.L.C. (checked winehq.org, appdb.winehq.org, bugs.winehq.org, source.winehq.org and testbot.winehq.org).
