It was looking very promising, and did in fact install about a gigabyte of stuff, but failed towards the end. To repeat: $ wget http://download.microsoft.com/download/f/a/d/fad9efde-8627-4e7a-8812-c351ba0... $ sha1sum PSDK-x86.exe 5c7dc2e1eb902b376d7797cc383fefdfc64ff9c9 $ wine PSDK-x86 This goes fine, and installs lots of stuff slowly, but after about half an hour, fails.
