Anarchy online was successfully installed and was able to patch all updates. However after the program launches, pressing either "settings" or "start" shuts down the program without any error or warning messages. It just disappears. Hi Austin. Thanks for the tip. This worked to a point. Anarchy online was successfully installed and was able to patch all updates.
However after the program launches, pressing either "settings" or "start" shuts down the program without any error or warning messages. It just disappears.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please try with wine-1.5.9. Feel free to reopen if that doesn't fix it.

I just ran Anarchy Online's installer and patcher, and got all the way to the login prompt, with wine-1.5.10. Try that version just to be sure. If it still fails, attach the console output as I asked earlier, and a description of when the crash happens (e.g. is it before or after login).
Hi Dan, Still no luck im afraid using 1.5.10. It is the same problem will all 3 versions i have used (.10, .9, .7) The installer and patcher works for me to. This is the sequence: 1. run anarchy.exe with wine (right click on anarchy.exe / left click wine program loader) 2. program opens and prompts to click "settings" of "play" (pre any login options) 3. clicking either "settings" or "plays" simply closes the window and of course the game does not start. Undortunately There is no console open to give any output unfortunately.
