I am having more and more trouble with the
gecko download.  Perhaps the increasing number
of users is straining the download server, I
don't know.  But I predict trouble if we use
download for 1.0.   Let's make sure at least
the popular distro packages bundle gecko...

it is redirected to sourceforge mirrors, should be quite reliable

And yet it is flaky.  Perhaps our networking code is
not robust enough.

Incidentally, I had a winetricks run fail recently, possibly
because of a sourceforge failure.  Sourceforge seems to redirect
when it can't find a file at one mirror, perhaps we're not
handing the redirect robustly.

It hung again while I was trying the Photoshop CS3 installer.
2nd run succeeded.
