Steps to reproduce the problem in the demo: Install...launch....start a new game. While in mid-game you can observe the audio issue: voices are unrecognizable, sound effects are stuttering heavily. This fixes some issues for me, and I get audio for the application now. The main menu seems to have really high latency, both in Wine and on my Win7 VM. Otherwise everything seems to work. Can you verify?
