I suspect this is related to bug 39547: the tooltip steals focus.
At least they have the same workaround: winecfg -> Graphics -> Allow the window manager to control the windows ( disabled ) . With KDE 5.4 the reported problem no longer manifests itself. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37929 --- Comment #6 from Robert Munteanu <robert.munteanu(a)gmail.com> --- Well, I'm trying to follow upstream quite closely, so I won't apply any custom patches - I also avoid staging. Thanks for the effort though, it's great to see that others care and have the technical prowess to actually provide patches. https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=37929 --- Comment #9 from Robert Munteanu <robert.munteanu(a)gmail.com> --- Not sure how it worked in my previous comment, but the issue appears again 5.5. Maybe it was something unrelated to wine that changed in the meantime. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
