[Bug 40958] New: Toontown Rewritten has major lag on wine-staging on FreeBSD and GNOME 3
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40958 Bug ID: 40958 Summary: Toontown Rewritten has major lag on wine-staging on FreeBSD and GNOME 3 Product: Wine-staging Version: 1.9.13 Hardware: x86-64 OS: FreeBSD Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: neel(a)neelc.org CC: erich.e.hoover(a)wine-staging.com, michael(a)fds-team.de, sebastian(a)fds-team.de Toontown Rewritten (http://toontownrewritten.com/) has major lag with keystrokes on wine-staging when I use FreeBSD and GNOME 3. TTR is a online game, and using keyboard controls often results in the display lagging by a few seconds. Other desktop environments don't have this lag to as great of an extent (I also tested TTR on Mate and Fluxbox). Is there a reason for this? -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40958 --- Comment #1 from Sebastian Lackner <sebastian(a)fds-team.de> --- Please attach terminal output, it might contain a hint what exactly is going wrong. Besides that, does this issue also occur with the development version of Wine? -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Keep in mind that the "fixme:msvcrt:__clean_type_info_names_internal" at the end is because I used Ctrl+C after exiting the game as TTR does not cleanly exit on Wine, but TTR not cleanly exiting isn't the problem I'm addressing, but being slow on GNOME is. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
