The exception is thrown after the long video has been played and the title screen is resumed. Curiously enough, the game provides exactly the native library in the installation directory, so using the override was easy: [Software\Wine\AppDefaults\CMR2.exe\DllOverrides] "msadp32.acm"="native" Using Ubuntu 8.04, winecfg: ALSA HW accel.
