You will find all your answers you are looking for in Wine's documentation. Wine
is _NOT_ an OS. It's a means to run windows programs. You do not need to have
any menu entries just for Wine (might be with exception of winecfg).

If program that you installed under Wine didn't create any links-icons it's a
totally separate problem.
