This errors only when I try to write in Arabic. By reading there are a Great changes to better :) this bug34513 solved for reading :) Now crashes and dis-connection between letters only when I try to write in Arabic in Richedit. If i type the word "Test" and select it and try to change the font, the glyphs do not change. Even if i pick a font that does not have latin glyphs. What appears to be happening for this bug, is that the default system font is being used, that default system font is not a truetype font, so shaping is disabled. That is correct behavior. When you do change the font or size, we seem to be given some of the font information into uniscribe, which turns on the shaping, but something odd is happening with glyphs.
