To my knowledge, it doesn't crash. Is your CPU running at 100% when playing?

Any idea what version it was it?
Comment 0 states "Mega Man Unlimited just came out" and the date of the message is July 2013. According to archive.org that would be game version 1.0.1, which is no longer available. Since I tested the bug in 2013 I may still have the file around, or maybe not because I was not able to reproduce.
