Hello, I'm encountering an issue when I attempt to configure Wine upon opening it by typing the command 'winecfg'. I keep getting the following error. I believe that this issue might not allow me to open any .exe files. I'd be very grateful if anyone could help me out with this, please. Does upstream (non-staging) Wine work?
Hi Zeb, thanks for your response. No, unfortunately none of the versions of Wine from WineHq, be they Wine Staging or Wine Development, seem to work. I fail to understand why I'm always getting some kind of error when I attempt to configure Wine.
