Google Chrome was installed in Wine 1.1.3 using the offline installer (http://gpdl.google.com/chrome/install/149.27/chrome_installer.exe) . At runtime, Address bar is all black,other buttons in the options dialog are also quirked. Google Chrome doesn't seem to connect to the internet.

I thought the fix for this was to translate atoms to the strings they represented (patch attached), but the conformance tests failed, so this is not the way to go. Maybe it will give someone a clue as to what's happening, though. The connectivity problems persist; I cannot leave about:blank. Maximizing Chrome causes the interface to compact into an about 50x50 pixel box in the upper-right of the screen (I needed to unmaximize from the window list to restore the UI). Interface seems fine for me on Ubuntu 9.10 AMD64 with wine 1.1.37, but it's definitely worthless for browsing due to the about:blank - hence no Internet connection or page viewing.
