[Bug 41794] New: Media Player Classic Home Cinema 1.7.10 uses too much CPU time.
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41794 Bug ID: 41794 Summary: Media Player Classic Home Cinema 1.7.10 uses too much CPU time. Product: Wine Version: 1.9.23 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: quartz Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: carlo.bramix(a)libero.it Distribution: --- I have built WINE myself, but I think that it is not a problem of my build. MPC-HC does not seem to work very well: it uses so much CPU time, if compared with other players. When I launch a playback, the console is filled at high speed with this message: fixme:quartz:MediaSeeking_IsFormatSupported Unhandled time format {7b785570-8c82-11cf-bc0c-00aa00ac74f6} I have no idea about this message, but perhaps the slowdown is caused by that huge amount of prints on the console, you can even ear some sound breaks when you switch between applications.
