FIRST:

./configure
make depend
make

ERROR from make:
The compiler finds an error in the comment field at row 97 in ppl.l.
I simply removed all comments and compiled OK.

SOLUTION: Remove the comments in the file ./tools/wpp/ppl.l
then wine will compile.
