I'd like to reserect this bug since i'm seeing the same problem. I'm running
Wine 0.9.46 on Gutsy using Vantive and seeing the same problem and the same
crash. I'll attach my WINEDEBUG=+menu and 
WINEDEBUG=+relay,+seh,+win,+mdi,+menu outputs.
