Well, starting up Diablo 2 (LoD expansion), I started having problems with the
fps dropping to about half the normal.  I've reinstalled Ubuntu 8.04, updated
it, reinstalled Wine from 1.1.18 to 1.0, and it still drops the frames after a
few minutes.  It also effects other Windows programs (No$GBA emulator) after
the Diablo 2 FPS drops.  I'm running a Dell Latitude D600 laptop with Ubuntu
8.04.  At the time Wine was at 1.1.18, now it's at 1.0 and still having the
problems.

The strange part is, before a few days ago, I was able to play without a
problem on Diablo 2.

What video card and drivers? Sounds like a video driver problem since it
affects other applications. Have you tried any native apps before & after
slowdown?

Look at your system.

Closing invalid - obviously not a Wine bug.
