Sometimes, the computer will overload trying to play the .mp3 files (the .wav sound effects do not have the issue), and Danmakufu will crash. According to the Terminal Window, the crash is because of the Frame Sync. (The .mp3 files all share this issue). MacOSX 10.7.5 with a 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5. I do not know if this constitutes as major or normal, but since this application is not used for commercial purposes, normal may be fine. (In reply to comment #2)

The application most likely crashed because it must be run in Japanese Locale LANG="ja_JP" wine th_dnh.exe To use the program, first dump a script into the 'scripts' directory. Open the executable in Japanese Locale; the program uses the z, x, and arrowkeys for basic purposes. I, u, and h are used for other purposes. http://dmf.shrinemaiden.org/wiki/How_to_Play_(0.12m) The background music should be bugged on MacOSX Lion with Wine 1.5.15 or 1.5.17 (and other versions are probably affected as well). If it does not bug within 20 seconds, press 'esc' to go to the pause menu. That should allow you to get a faster freezing of the engine. Feel free to contact me if you have trouble with the program. Is still a bug in current wine(3.20)?
As the application fails to run properly on macOS, I cannot test if this is still an issue. However, given that the replacement for this engine still has the same issue with mp3 files being usable on Wine, I would not be surprised if this bug is still relevant. As of 5.5, the bug is still present. I have not tested with newer versions of Wine since no official builds have been released for macOS since 5.7.
