I reproduced the problem with nouveau/mesa 17.3.6 and with nvidia binary drivers 390.25. Not sure if this counts as a regression, but reverting the following commit fixes the crash: commit fb6b3cc872077e641cf68165e04012a95c94699d Author: Józef Kucia <jkucia(a)codeweavers.com> Date: Thu Feb 22 16:43:14 2018 +0100 wined3d: Use multisample textures by default. The problem can be reproduced with the demo version.
