[Bug 56963] New: error in affinity program series
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=56963 Bug ID: 56963 Summary: error in affinity program series Product: Wine Version: 9.12 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: mscoree Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: grandrodri3(a)gmail.com Distribution: --- Created attachment 76782 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=76782 affinity designer error Hello, how are you? I am testing the three affinity brand programs (the photo, the publisher and the designer) installing them in test mode (there is a report of an affinity program that claims to access the "extract" box but it is for licensed users, not in shareware mode) and the debugger jumps giving me an error. The libraries that have been installed are dotnet48 and dotnet35, the wine is 9.12 without patches, Windows 10 mode and I have not installed directx yet. Below I send the 3 debugging errors that I received and the terminal output of the affinity photo. the download link is: https://affinity.serif.com/ can you review it? I am pretty sure implementing that would violate DMCA. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=56963 --- Comment #7 from Austin English <austinenglish(a)gmail.com> --- For reference, this is the output from the AppDB entry:
"error.message": "Could not find Windows Runtime type 'Windows.Services.Store.StoreLicense'.",
Implementing Windows APIs (when following clean room policies) doesn't violate the DMCA. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

From Wine 10.17, the Affinity 2.x programs and the new combined Affinity Studio work with the official Wine releases, provided you use winetricks to install dotnet48 and vcrun2022, then install some patches to get around a few issues.
