[Bug 16918] New: Flatout 2 network game not working

It just keeps trying to connect endlessly. When pressing ESC to go back from that the game crashes. On LAN the game fails to broadcast the server to other machines so they can't see it on the list. When trying to connect other servers it works exactly as the internet game.
