https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42039 Bug ID: 42039 Summary: Photoshop CS5 during "save to clipboard" erases itself! Product: Wine Version: 2.0-rc1 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org Reporter: soohyun2222(a)gmail.com Distribution: --- Hello, I had two files open in Photoshop CS5 and while I was copying and paste one image to the other, the photoshop suddenly crashed. Not only did it crash, but now I can't find the 'Adobe Photoshop CS5' folder in the 'Program files' folder. I am very confused and like to know why did the wine erase the program. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. I was in a su mode that I went to the wine folder under the root user. Anyway, that brings me to the point that I suspect that there is an incompatibility issue between switching to the root user. For example, I first opened my photoshop as a normal user and then did Ctrl+z to make the photoshop run as a background. Then I did other terminal stuff such as software update and su. Then what happened was that I stressed the program by copying images back and forth between the canvases then something happened to the photoshop that it dissappeared in my task bar. I found out that I killed the photoshop that was running in the background when I exited the root in terminal that was after the photoshop already dissappeared in my task bar. Please look into this matter for this is as best as I could explain. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. Additionally, in general, wine should not be run as root. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
