Please attach the complete console output from the crash. Is that the same as trying to run Quicken from the terminal? If so:
coop(a)Coops-PC:~$ wine quicken wine: could not load L"C:\\windows\\system32\\quicken.exe": Module not found But when I open Quicken through the applications menu, it runs to the point where I have to select a data file to use or create one. Can you post the entirety of your latest console output? How were you able to upgrade to release 7? I am unable to register Quicken online, I keep getting an error. http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13585 --- Comment #15 from Ben McCann <benjamin.j.mccann(a)gmail.com> 2008-07-28 19:17:19 --- I don't think you've got the override working because of the lines that say "fixme:gdiplus". Try switching the override from (native, builtin) to just (native) and see what happens. If it still doesn't work, then try moving the gdiplus.dll to the same directory as qw.exe, so that it will be loaded earlier. I've opened a separate bug for the registration issues: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14672 -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13585 --- Comment #16 from Coop <rchrd.c(a)gmail.com> 2008-07-28 19:47:03 --- I tried placing the GDIplus folder in the Quicken folder, I originally had it in the windows/system folder (per the web link). I also tried using "built in" and "native" but the results are the same, Quicken crashes everytime I try to open my datafile. I still get the fixme line: fixme:gdiplus:GdipSetLineBlend not implemented Not sure what I'm doing wrong here. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.

You might also want to uninstall Wine and delete your .wine directory "rm -rf ~.wine" and then reinstall wine-1.1.2, which is the version I was using with the directions provided. You do not want to use builtin option. I chose native only. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13585 --- Comment #18 from Coop <rchrd.c(a)gmail.com> 2008-07-30 01:22:40 --- Created an attachment (id=15176) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=15176) Quicken output after re-installation I followed the rm command to uninstall wine, then re-installed it (I think when I did sudo apt-get update?). I also re-installed winetricks and Quicken. I have the gdiplus set to native only. During installation Quicken no longer allows me to upgrade to release 7, so none of my data files would work even if Quicken ran (it doesn't run) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
